This policy explains how PGC Host & Home ("PGC", "we", "us" or "our") handles personal information when you visit this website, make an enquiry or communicate with us. PGC Host & Home is the controller of that information for UK data protection law.

4. Who receives your information

We may share information only where needed with website hosting, IT, email delivery and professional advisers; with suppliers or contractors involved in a service you request; with payment, accounting or property-management providers where relevant; and with regulators, courts, law enforcement or other parties when required by law or to protect legal rights. Our current website infrastructure includes Cloudflare for hosting and Resend for delivery of website enquiries.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where UK law requires it, we use an adequacy regulation or approved contractual safeguards and supplementary measures. You may contact us for more information about the safeguards relevant to your information.

6. How long we keep information

We normally keep unsuccessful or inactive enquiry records for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact. If you become a client, we normally retain contract, transaction and related correspondence records for up to six years after the relationship ends, or longer where law, tax rules, insurance requirements or a dispute requires it. Routine website security logs are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for security and troubleshooting. We securely delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed.

7. Cookies and similar technology

The website uses Cloudflare’s privacy-focused analytics to understand page traffic and non-personal interactions such as service interest and enquiry completion. PGC does not send names, email addresses, telephone numbers or enquiry contents to analytics. The current website does not use advertising analytics cookies. Our hosting provider may also use strictly necessary technology and process connection data to deliver and protect the site. If non-essential cookies are introduced, we will update this policy and request consent where required.

8. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access your information; correct inaccurate information; request erasure; restrict processing; receive certain information in a portable format; object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing; and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Your right to object: you may object at any time to use of your information for direct marketing. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests; we will stop unless we have compelling lawful reasons to continue or the processing is needed for legal claims.

To exercise a right, email us using the address above. We may need to verify your identity. There is normally no charge.

9. Complaints

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or by telephone on 0303 123 1113.

10. Security, other websites and changes

We use proportionate organisational and technical measures intended to protect personal information, but no online service can be guaranteed completely secure. Links to third-party websites are governed by those parties’ own privacy information. We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change; the date above shows the latest revision.
